Cobalt base alloys consist of complex carbides in an alloymatrix. Their exceptional wearresistance is due mainly to the unique inherent characteristics ofthe hard carbide phase dispersed in a CoCr alloy matrix.
Saw tips are made of CoCrW12,so the following information is all about CoCrW12.
(1). CoCrW12 could be considered an intermediate alloy .
