0.8% Sodium hypochlorite generation system is producing sodium hypochlorite onsite through 3% brine electrolysis(salt and water after saturated), and the whole system is a combination of Softening unit, Filtration unit, Salt dissolving unit, Online proportioning unit, electrolytic unit, rectifier power supply, automatic control systems, storage and dosing unit, etc.
Sodium Hypochlorite is widely used in many water industries. The most applied in drinking water disinfection, on site generation of Sodium hypochlorite is more safely than feeding chlorine gas. Transporting Chlorine gas tank is risky to leakage and lead to explosion.

Electrolytic cell
Geemblue series unique electrolytic cell design optimizes salt and
power consumption while providing easy access to the cell
components for maintenance. A clear organic glass cell body allows
for visual inspection, and the improved end-connection cap design
minimizes the potential for leaks.
Electrodes
TA1 titanium electrode, with ruthenium &iridium oxide coating which ensure over 5 years coating life, over 18 years base material, reduce the chlorine evolution potential and electricity consumption.
PLC and LCD touch screen
PLC and LCD touch screen we select “Siemens”, electronic components
is “ABB” and “Schneider ”, which ensure stable performance
Central control have RS485 communication interface, able to remote
monitoring.
The process of the NaClO generator
The operation of the Geemblue system is simple:
1. Salt Dissolving
Influent water passes through a water softener to reduce hardness
therefore reducing the scaling of electrodes. Using softened water
to dissolve the salt in a tank to form a concentrated brine
solution.
2. Brine Proportioning
The saturated brine will be diluted into 2.5%-3%, the diluted brine can be adjusted and real-time monitored according to the value conductivity meter
3. Brine electrolysis
The diluted brine solution is passed through an electrolytic cell
that, using DC current from a rectifier, electrolyzes the diluted
brine into a 0.8% solution of sodium hypochlorite
4. Sodium hypochlorite solution storage
The final product 5000-7000 ppm (adjustable) of sodium hypochlorite solution will be kept in the storage tank and the hydrogen will be blown out to the air
5. Dosing
The sodium hypochlorite solution will be delivered into the water by dosing pump and the dosing rate of dosing pump can be adjusted by the feedback data of residual chlorine meter and PLC
