Description
The cemented carbide / hard alloy / kentanium is mainly sintered with tungsten carbide powder, cobalt
as a binder. With the increase of cobalt content, the toughness of
the material increases, but the hardness decreases. By adjusting
the content of cobalt, tool materials suitable for different
environments can be obtained. It is widely used in high-speed
cutting tools with good rigidity and simple edge shape. With the
development of technology, complex cutting tools are gradually
expanding their applications.
When the material to be cut is relatively soft, such as copper and
plastic, high-speed steel is selected as the material of the tool
to reduce the cost.
