Twill Weave method and its unique performance comparised with plain weave
In twill weave, each weft or filling yarn floats across the warp yarns in a progression of interlaces to the right or left, forming a distinct diagonal line. This diagonal line is also known as a wale. A float is the portion of a yarn that crosses over two or more yarns from the opposite direction.
Twill weaving has one weft yarn passing through every two diameters, unlike plain weaving, which has one diameters yarn passing through. Because it is two diameter yarns and one weft yarn, the density is higher than that of plain weave, the filtration performance is better than plain weave, and the strength of stainless steel wire mesh woven by twill weave is greater than that of plain weave, and the wear resistance is better.
