Double Girder Rubber Tyred Port Gantry Crane For Unloading Containers
Rubber Tyred Container Gantry Crane
1.1 The crane is used to offload, stack and load 20′, 40′
containers from and to trailers. The crane features a rated
capacity of 41t under the spreader, and is capable of longitudinal
and transversal movements in the container yard.

1.2 The rubber tyred container gantry crane is mounted on 8 wheels
with tubeless tires and powered by a diesel engine which drives an
electric generator.
1.3 The crane is equipped with appropriate flexible hydraulic
container spreader, which is connected to trolley through the upper
frame and wire rope system. And the hydraulic power comes from
spreader itself,and we just provide the power supply and
communication.
1.4 The crane is designed to travel straight along its normal path,
and at right angles to that path by rotating the travel wheels
through an angle of 90 degrees by electric device.
1.5 The crane is capable of handling a container load of 41 tons by
means of flexible hydraulic container spreader of 10 tons, and also
able to lift one 9′6″high container over five 9′6″high stacked
containers and to span six rows of 8′wide containers with row
distance of 400mm and a container trailer track. Effective trolley
travel is 18500mm not affecting operation in stacking area.
1.6 Hoisting mechanism and trolley travel are able to work
simultaneously or separately with load, the same applies to gantry
travel and trolley travel.
1.7 The Electrical drive of main working mechanism equipped with
full digital AC frequency convertor, PLC speed governor and
constant power adjustment device for hoisting mechanism.
1.8 The crane has a monitoring and management system. It has the
function of data collection, analysis, management, and fault
diagnosis and is also able to deliver the main parameters and
operating conditions to the electrical room, cabin and control
centre for monitoring and control.
Modular Design
The components of crane are designed into various series standard
modulars. And different modulars can be assemblied to different
products.
All the modular components can assembly and disassembly for good
transportation.

Advanced Manufacturing Technology.
Both side of all the steel plates of crane are pretreated by
pretreatment production line,
Sand blasting-- Primer spray--Primer drying. Eliminate the inner
stress of steel plate, increase the adhesive force of the steel
structure. Ensure the appearance and anticorrosion quality.
Steel plate cutting adopts whole sets Messer CNC plasma cutting
machine from Germany, very fast cutting speed, little deformation,
High precision, Deviation could be controled within 1mm, it insure
the raw material at high quality standard and can reach top level
in the industry.
The welding of main beam adopts high efficiency and intelligent
welding robot, Weihua are No.1 enterprise who adopts this high
technology machine. The welding joint inside of the main beam
adopts advanced MAG welding, adapt Ar+CO2 mixed protective gas, The
4 welding joint outside of the main beam adopts automatic
submerged-arc fillet welding machine. The welding of main beam
adopts radiographic inspection and ultrasonic flaw detection for
the welding joint and fillet weld position.
