• It is for protecting low-voltage consumer’s installations against indirect lightning discharges and is to be installed in LEPM zone:LPZ1 - LPZ2 as per IEC 62305.
• Provide protection to electrical/electronic equipment against a
brief overvoltage spike or disturbance on a power/signal waveform
called a surge.
• Suitable for the second stage of protection in supply
distribution panels in which Type 1 protection devices are
installed upstream, or for the first stage of protection in
commercial or other applications not exposed to direct strikes and
with no external lightning protection system.
